The Arc @ Aberdare National Park

We had traveled through the Aberdares, a beautiful mountain range in Kenya’s central highlands, where rainforests yield to bamboo forests and moorland.
Queen Elizabeth was vacationing here when she became Queen of the United Kingdom.
We were dropped off at Noah’s Port landing with our overnight bags to walk down the steep steps and over a bridge to the Arc.

Sunrise over Mt Kenya
Our view of the sunrise over Mt. Kenya (reflected in the window)
Comfy quarters
 A wildebeest noshing outside
This was the bottom floor lookout.

Ray & Pam and Doris and Danny enjoying a glass of wiine at the second floor deck.
Apparently this rhinoceros mother was killed by an elephant when their kids played with each other and the elephant mother charged.
Our head tour guide, James and another guide is telling us about the area. Some of us sleep deprived took cat naps.
